UCLA Freshman Regents Scholarship Eligibility
- Eligible Countries; the citizens of United States only eligible candidates.
- Acceptable Course or Subjects: Undergraduate degree in any of the subjects offered by the university
- Admissible Criteria: To be qualified, the applicants must meet up with all the given criteria:
- The very first time freshman must be in high school or have graduated from high school but still have not enrolled in a regular session at any of the colleges or universities.
- Every Regents Scholars are expected to present an additional outside financial assistance and/or outside Awards to Financial Aid and Scholarships.
- Scholars should as well maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA during all quarters of attendance and are mandatory to admit in a minimum of 12 units per quarter.
- Students must notify the Scholarships coordinators of any change in academic status, such as taking less than the required twelve (12) units per quarter, dropping below a 3.0 GPA or if they are preparing to take an approved leave of absence.

How to Apply for the UCLA Freshman Regents
- Scholarship; To obtain UCLA Regents Scholarship, applicants are demanded to take admission or transfer at UCLA through filling the University of California Application for Admission.
- Supporting Documents; Applicants must be prepared for a high school transcript, essay, and ACT/SAT score to present.
- Entry Requirements; Minimum GPA for California applicants is always 3.0. and 3.4 for non residents. All Regents Scholars are qualified to join the Regents Scholar Society and are strongly encouraged to determine membership in this very official campus student organization.
- Language Requirement; Candidates must have an excellent knowledge of the English language to be eligible to study at UCLA.
