A Binational Fulbright Commission oversees the Humphrey Fellowship Program in 26 nations. The Public in all other participating nations. The U.S. Embassy’s Affairs Section is in charge of running the Program. Norms for Basic Eligibility
Limited or no prior experience in the United States; an undergraduate degree (first college or bachelor’s degree); five years of full-time, professional experience; demonstrated leadership characteristics; a history of community involvement; and proficiency in English

Program Advantages
What the Fellowship offers:
- paying the designated host university’s tuition and fees;
- English language instruction prior to academics, if necessary;
- A stipend for maintenance (living), which includes a one-time settling-in stipend;

- An upfront computer grant;
- Air travel (for both domestic and international travel to and from the domestic travel for the program and attend the required program events);
